In a performance-reading Toronto native and New York-based Glazer shares his lyrical translations alongside the original Hebrew poems, taking on topics ranging from magic and mysticism to doubt and death; and accompanied by leading world music performers: Aviva Chernick, Aaron Lightstone, Waleed Abdulhamid, Jeff Wilson, and Sundar Viswanathan with guests Cantor Aaron Bensoussan and Ernie Tollar. Featuring a closing set from Jaffa Road who have put these lively poems to music on their two Juno-nominated albums.
