The Heliconian Club is a hub of arts-based activity and appreciation that reveres quality, respects tradition and welcomes innovation. It plays an active role in wider community initiatives and maintains multiple outreach programs.

Members of the Literature Section are excited to make this call for submissions for the first-ever anthology to be produced by the Heliconian Club. They are seeking writing in different genres, as well as high-resolution images in various artistic media, such as drawings, paintings, fabric art, sculpture and photography. The call is open to both current and former members of the Club.

The desire is to produce an anthology that will promote and celebrate the Heliconian Club through the publication of the best of evocative poetry, profound stories, memoirs and essays, and outstanding imagery. This anthology will be published as a full-colour, softcover book.
