Canadian poets are invited to submit up to 6 unpublished poems to the Brooklin Poetry Society’s 3rd Annual Poetry Contest. This year’s theme is borrowed from the League of Canadian Poets’, A World of Poetry. How does poetry affect and shape the world? Given recent global events, can poetry address the world? What about poetry from around the world? Have we created enough spaces for world poets on our poetry reading lists? And lastly where can we find poetry in our vastly uncertain and fragile world? Poets are free to interpret the theme as they wish.
