The Al & Eurithe Purdy A-Frame is open to the public Saturday, September 22nd and Sunday, September 23rd, 2018 between 10am and 4pm. Check out the restorations and see where Al wrote many of his best-known poems, including “The Country North of Belleville”. There will be information handouts and friendly hosts to welcome you. Bring a lunch and enjoy a picnic by the lake! The route will be well-marked from the Ameliasburgh Public Library, where free parking is available (about a 10 minute walk). This event is free of charge, although charitable donations are welcome. Books will also be available for sale.
