The Caterpillar Poetry Prize submission deadline

The prize is for a single poem written by an adult for children (aged 7–11). The winner receives €1,000 plus publication in the summer issue of The Caterpillar.

Roger McGough is the judge of The Caterpillar Poetry Prize 2020. Dubbed the “patron saint of poetry” by Carol Ann Duffy, McGough has published more than 50 books of adult’s and children’s poetry. He was awarded a CBE for services to poetry and currently hosts Poetry Please on BBC Radio 4.
